The Vernon Company recently recognized the 500th member of its Million Dollar Club. Jose Molina, CAS, of Puerto Rico, became the 500th member of the sales achievement club in August.
Vernon’s Million Dollar Club was established in 1959, by Bill Vernon, Jr., to recognize and reward account executives for their career sales milestones. For achieving million dollar level milestones account executives are awarded gifts from a merchandise program, as well as receiving special recognition at company events and in corporate publications.
The company recognizes more than 50 account executives each year for achieving various million dollar club levels. Today there are 190 active Vernon account executives in various levels of million dollar achievements – from the Million Dollar Club to the Twenty-One Million Dollar Club.
“We started the Million Dollar Club in 1959, in order to recognize those individuals who had made significant career sales for our company,” said Bill Vernon, Jr., Chairman. “I’m delighted how well this recognition program has grown in stature over the years. It’s an important part of our heritage.”
“Congratulations to Jose on reaching this milestone in his career.”
“After 25 years in this industry, the past few with The Vernon Company, $1,000,000 in sales with Vernon means that I made the right choice in selecting them as my partner for my promotional product business,” said Molina. “In good times and bad times I have done my part in selling and Vernon has done their part in supporting me. Being the 500th member of this club speaks volumes not about me, but about the successful partnership that I and 500 other individuals have with The Vernon Company.”
